Lessons are located at Morning Star Stables on Sundays from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 6 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. Check out the "New" tab above for information on new programs available for 2011.
Sunday lessons are now full. We have 12 lesson spaces available for Thursday evenings beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Each riding session is 30 minutes long and is limited to a maximum of three (3) riders at a time. Each rider is carefully evaluated by riding instructors, as to provide the best therapy program for each rider. Each rider is assisted by at least two volunteers that have been trained to assist disabled individuals. Horses have been carefully evaluated to ensure that they suit the needs of the program.
The cost for lessons is $35/lesson. This includes one 30 minute lesson per week. Additional weekly lessons are $35.00/lesson.
Currently we have space available for 12 new riders.
