Lessons are located at Morning Star Stables, South Park, PA on Sundays from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. Check out the "New" tab above for information on new programs available for 2009.
Each riding session is 30 minutes long and is limited to a maximum of three (3) riders at a time. Each rider is carefully evaluated by riding instructors, as to provide the best therapy program for each rider. Each rider is assisted by at least two volunteers that have been trained to assist disabled individuals. Horses have been carefully evaluated to ensure that they suit the needs of the program.
The cost for lessons is $140/month. This includes one 35- 45 minute lesson per week. Additional weekly lessons are $35.00/lesson.
Lessons are currently offered on Sunday afternoons beginning at 12 p.m. and Tuesday evenings at 6.

Dana Flaherty
Mrs. Flaherty has been riding horses her entire life. She currently owns 3 horses of her own and co-owns another. Mrs. Flaherty has gone through the Instructor Training Program offered by North American Riding for the Handicapped and continues to upkeep her instructor status and membership. Mrs. Flahery is also a member of AQHA and the WPDA. She is currently riding her mare Chinamint at the dressage intro level. She is also the founder and program director of In-Stride with Therapeutic Riding, Inc.
